Yangshan Global Import Products Exhibition Platform unveiled in Shanghai FTZ

The promotion ceremony of Yangshan Global Import Products Exhibition Platform and the 2018 China International Cross-Border E-Commerce Development Summit were held in the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free-Trade Zone on October 29.

The events attracted domestic and foreign exhibitors, institutes and chambers of commerce stationed in China, and more than 300 representatives from the cross-border e-commerce industry.

Li Zhaojie, deputy director of the FTZ’s management committee; Yu Peishun, president of China Farm Produce Brokers Association; Zhu Wei Qiang, vice president of Lingang Group; Cao Qi, vice president of Shanghai Branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China; Qiu Yabing, deputy commissioner of the Yangshan Customs; Shi Chen, deputy director of Foreign Trade Office of Shanghai  Commission of Commerce; and Santiago Yanez, ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador to China, attended the events and unveiled the Yangshan Global Import Products Exhibition Platform.

Also, the signing ceremony of the first batch of enterprises to settle in Yangshan Global Import Products Exhibition Platform was held. The companies include OOCL Logistics (China) Ltd, Shanghai Giessen Logistics Co and Yuanji (Shanghai) International Logistics Co.

By integrating itself with the FTZ and cross-border e-commerce companies, the Yangshan Bonded Area will set up both online and offline platforms to promote interactions, exhibition and experience.

Li said the FTZ will take advantage of the opportunities brought by the China International Import Expo to further exert its policy innovation advantages to enhance the trade and investment liberalization in the zone and provide bigger development space for market entities of every kind.
