The pavilion was authorized by the Ministry of Industries and Mines (Iran) and is now administered by Shanghai FTZ under the guidance of Iran Trade Promotion Organization.

The pavilion will also display Iran’s specialty commodities, promote Iran’s exports and attract investment in China. Meanwhile, it will serve as a channel for Chinese export to Iran and a one-stop platform for Chinese companies to make investments in Iran.

The pavilion will take advantage of Waigaoqiao FTZ’s preferential policies and trade resources as well as Iran’s support to help small and medium sized companies in China and Iran to enter each other’s markets and form new business forms, said one official with the pavilion.
